In my efforts to do everything myself from scratch with love and care, there comes a point where you do the math, you think about your time and come to realize ... I'm going to make an online order. That was the case for the bridal shower my mom is hosting for me and the invitation. Originally, I wanted to use graphics from the free downloads at
Wedding Chicks, but after printing everything, buying envelopes and a whole lot of cutting, the cost didn't compare to the amazingly inexpensive deals at
Wedding Paper Divas. I had two coupons on hand that included additional discounts. Here is the design choice (I'm obviously not Serena):

To add my personal touch, I focused on the address labels.
Martha Stewart shares a folded
address label that I downloaded for free.

I saved on the cost by just picking paper with different brown tones and using my own printer, then cutting along the lines.

Using the
Martha Stewart lace edge punch, I made a little upgrade on the front of the address label.

The labels were glued on the envelopes and folded over. Done one month ahead of schedule.
Wait, you're NOT Serena? I'm so confused now...
ReplyDeleteNice work on the wrap around labels! Leave it to Martha to offer a template. I love the lace edge on the front.
CHECK! Next project :)
I stole your project for Amanda's Bridal shower invites. I really hope you are more flattered than upset :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteKelly you're so funny!! You can steal all that you please! Let me know if you ever need a template!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! What kind of glue did you use?
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer! I always use the same glue: Scotch Quick Dry Tacky adhesive. I swear by it for all of my paper projects!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Debbie!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie! I just cam across your site from the Martha Stewart site, I was looking for ways to personlize our wedding invites. So excited I did, I love your person touch! I know this is kind of a old post but would you happen to still have the template? Thanks (my email address is clavijo.andrea@gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, found your site via a pinterest and google search -- do you still have the label template? Martha has gotten rid of it! jepson.kate@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Kate

DeleteI have the same question as Kate Jepson. Can you please email me the template as well! ademusis@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI would like to use them for my upcoming wedding and I love the lace hole punch as I am getting married at a lace factory.
Thank you,
Allison

DeleteLooks like the template is back up on MSWeddings...but do you have a save-able template? My email is erin.bockoven@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks Much,
Erin Bockoven
Same here! I love this idea but can't find a save-able template. I don't have a printer so I'll need to take the file somewhere to get printed. Can you share? My email is jamielynn019@yahoo.com!
