inspired by spring cleaning

You probably have mounds of paper scraps around the house and stacks of loose sheets that you just fell in love with the last time you walked through the paper aisle. When I was naturally given the task of creating my friend's bridal shower invites, I decided to save a few dollars and use things that I already had. I scoured my shelves and drawers for cardstock, corresponding prints, eyelets, and borrowed a design that a friend used on one of her projects. What you see here is an invite that uses stuff just sitting in a closet waiting to join an idea.

The second page is a recipe card that guests can rip out and bring to the shower.

inspired by Wedding Paper Divas

For anyone who has ever perused Wedding Paper Divas, you have seen hours of your life fly by and only get through the bridal shower section. They have unique designs that meet most occasions and are just plain adorable. When I received a friend's bridal shower invitation a few weeks back, I just couldn't throw away the invite after the event. In an effort that would bring a smile to mother Earth's face, I recycled her invite by creating a card to accompany the bridal shower gift. I hope she likes it!
