package pal: anna at 64 color box

Monday, April 1, 2013

Last month, I threw my hat into the ring to join an organized party (of sorts) hosted by C.R.A.F.T. and Stars & Sunshine to be paired up with a fellow crafty blogger and get to know someone that I may not already know. I met Anna from 64 Color Box. Everyone stop by and  say hi!
The puppet masters behind the scenes did a great job pairing us up! We both work more than full-time jobs and have Etsy shops (she makes LEGO earrings ... how cool is that?). Like me, Anna enjoys to sew but very much unlike me, the girl makes clothes!! She lives in Florida and introduced the concept of 30 Days of Lists, something that I knew nothing about but as a lover of lists, sounds amazing! She is incredibly thoughtful and has been so great to get to know.
I came home from work today to find the sweetest package from her!! I told Anna that I have a bit of a washi tape problem and have been struggling with display and organization solutions. She put together and painted this adorable wall piece that holds the washi tape for me!! (sorry for the bad lighting peeps - late night blogging at its finest!)

For her, I made a set of blank cards to use during an emergency (thank you, birthday, etc.). We all know that when we are our most busy, that's when we need a card the most!!  And as a fellow crafter, I love putting together these little packages for friends because everyone needs a card!

This is a fun project and really is great for meeting awesome new people that you may not have the chance to find!

  1. WOW! What a fun (and functional) PP gift! I need one of those! Thanks for participating in March PP!

  2. This is a great idea! Totally pinning :)
